Goodbye A.J!

On Saturday after an evening of fun at work.....a group of us went out to Kelly's Irish Pub to give our kitchen manager, A.J., a proper fair-well. He's heading to the new Graze in Des Moines, set to be the executive chef up there! Congrats A.J! We'll miss you at Graze-Davenport! And, speaking of Graze-Davenport - - the newest employee is Miss Megan Mooney! Yep, she wasn't sure at first about living and working with me but she likes the people I work with and needs the money so we can move to Wilmington on schedule. I'm training her tomorrow night, haha...
Tonight Megan and I are heading up to Clinton to hang out with Joy - her parents are out of town (haha, wow, sounds like we're back in high school!) But don't worry if you're reading this - we won't throw a party, and if we do, we'll be sure to clean up really well... ;)

Corporate Rock!

Last night Megan and I met up with Jenni, Shana, and Cheryl at Azteca and then wandered over to Uptown to watch Corporate Rock, a local band. It started off a little dead (the band before them was just so-so) but then we hit the floor and danced the night away! Fun fun! The band was really good - - Megan and I even got to be their tamborine girls for a little while ;)

Back to Life, Back to Reality

Megan and Joy have returned from their European adventure! They had a great time - went to Dublin, London, had a brief stop in Brussels then continued to Barcelona, Oviedo, Madrid, and flew out of Paris. (I'll post a few pictures from their trip another time.)

Hmm, I've not been doing much, working a lot and going out a little. Above is actually a picture of the Mooney sisters with our dear friend Jenni from before Megan's trip. I've got lots of pictures to post but I'm just on break before going back into work so I'll do it another time! Have a great week!

Most people will choose unhappiness over uncertainty. I'm definitely not one of those people. --- this blog is simply to keep my friends and family somewhat updated on my little adventures whether I'm going to a new restaurant/bar or moving cross country, then back, then to the opposite coast...
